The 2008-2009 class schedule has been posted on our web site at http://www.lacauserie.org and registration is now open. You can sign up for as many classes as you like for an annual membership fee of $195. If you register and pay before September 1st, you can save $10 (that’s a couple of gallons of gas!). And this may be the only expense in your life that hasn’t increased this year.

 

How To Register:

 

It’s easy! Go to our web site (http://www.lacauserie.org) and click on the “Register” tab at the top. You’ll be asked to provide your contact information. If you were a La Causerie member last year, all you have to do is provide your email address and the rest of your contact information will be filled in automatically. Find the class or classes you’d like to register for in the Class Schedule and click on the “Enroll” button. There’s a space provided for you to ask questions or make comments. Once you’ve selected your classes, click on the “Register” button below the Class Schedule.

 

Class Descriptions:

 

To help you determine which class is the best fit for you, check the class descriptions. Click on the “Classes” tab at the top of the page. The Class Schedule will appear with the classes, teachers, and times. For each class, there is a “class link”. Clicking on this link will direct you to a description of the class, including topics to be covered and texts used. Your annual membership fee entitles you to register for and attend as many classes as you like.

 

Books:

 

The textbooks used for each class can be found by clicking on the “Books” tab at the top of the page. Be sure to double-check the ISBN number to make sure you’re ordering the correct edition.

 

 

 

Enrollment Party and Orientation

 

Our annual Enrollment Party is scheduled for September 5th at Second Presbyterian Church at 55th and Brookside Boulevard. Come from 2 – 4 p.m. to enroll (if you haven’t already done so). If you’re enrolled, come for some social time.  Our teachers will be there to answer your questions, provide placement advice and get to know you.  New members can hike to the third floor (or take the elevator) to get the lay of the land of our third floor classrooms.

 

Members are asked to bring a snack to share (some savory or sweet nibbles with an international flair are always welcome). We will provide drinks.
